Baltimore Monsanto Lawsuit

Yesterday Baltimore became the 15th US city, the 1st on the East Coast to sue Monsanto for polluting its waterways with Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's), a type of carcinogenic chemical. Everyday it becomes more clear, climate justice is health justice.
Understanding and Transforming the Medical Industrial Complex begins tomorrow! The Health Justice Commons was founded to address issues such as these and to catalyze intersectional health justice movement building. To transform the MIC and its complicity with many of the growing horrors of proto-fascism, late capitalism, and climate change, we need to first equip our communities with the knowledge to analyze the MIC, its hidden history, its entanglement with oppressive institutions and major big polluting corporations.
